Apple picking rhyme

Apple picking with the children is a great way for them to understand the feeling of the Mabon time of the year, and I know my oldest loves apple picking! This is a little ditty we sing-song that I threw together so my children might come to understand a respect for the tree - that we ask and not just blindly take.

Apples on the tree,
Apples on the ground.
May we take some please,
Before they all fall down?
*fall to the ground*

Thank you for the apples,
We dance and dance around
*spin in circles*
Thankyou for the apples!
We all take a bow.
*take a bow!*

An inoffensive little childhood ditty that even when overheard by passers by is seen as harmless childhood fun.
